Fabulous Fell Pony offered via frozen semen
Jason is a 13.1 hand, five-year-old Fell Pony licensed with the FPS. He was imported in July of 2006 as a yearling from the Littletree Stud in England. He comes from a long line of quality Fell Ponies known for their character, movement, and ample, correct bone. As a four year old he has over 8 inches of bone and plenty of straight feather.
Jason's movement, conformation, and personality are true to type for a Fell Pony and exceptional for a pony of his size. He demonstrates intelligence, confidence, and a willingness to learn in addition to having a ground-covering trot and a large, balanced canter. While he may be a small pony, he does not have a small pony trot. Adults are often surprised at how comfortable they feel when riding him and how uncomplicated he is.
As a weanling his movement stood him apart from the herd, and we look forward to seeing how he progresses in his training. He has shown potential in both dressage and jumping arenas, and is an excellent choice to maintain pony size, add bone to a light-boned mare, and all while retaining athleticism.
