Buckskin Graded Sports Horse Stallion

Legrande is a very special modern young sports horse stallion, who has been produced slowly; he is already showing an exceptional jump with a fantastic technique and unlimited scope. He has a superb temperament in and out of his stable, but most importantly when out and about at competitions. He has completed two years of dressage training, proving he has powerful, athletic off the floor movement, he has an outstanding hind leg and natural elevation in all three of his paces. During this time he qualified for the Regional Finals with scores in the 70% and has BD points. He also finished in the top ten for the Shearwater Potential International Young Horse class at the Welsh Festival of Dressage. Legrande started his jumping career in March 2009 and attended his first affiliated show in May. He has to date jumped more than a dozen double clears in British Novice and Discovery, with winnings amounting to almost £200 in a very short period of time, he is looking extremely promising for the future as a show jumping super star.

Additional Information

His correct conformation, exquisite head, level temperament and stunning colour make him really stand out in the crowd. Legrande would produce youngsters for show jumping, dressage or eventing, with power, movement, athleticism and the added chance of fantastic colour. He is an athletically framed horse, but having said that, he doesn`t lack any bone, which is so often seen in todays modern sports horses. He carries both a red and black colour gene as well as the single dilute, so he is capable of producing both Palomino and Buckskin youngsters to a variety of mares. He has 4 perfectly equal white stockings, so it is possible he also carries the sabino gene too. We are eagerly awaiting his first crop of foals in 2010.
