‘Phoenix’ is a 2008, 100% Homozygous Tobiano, Oldenburg x sport-horse Stallion. Being 100% homozygous means all his offspring will inherit the tobiano pattern. Around the farm he is known for his remarkable disposition, athletic ability and great manners.
Phoenix Sire is Senter Stage (Old.) and his Dam is Sugar Magnolia (TBx). Phoenix grand-sire is Spectrum (GOV Old.), who is sired by Rainbow (Elite ZFDP) who is sired by the world renowned Rinaldo. Phoenix grand-dam is Presidio (Old.) who is sired by Peron (Trak.). Peron is an Olympic Bronze Medalist and is the highest scoring Olympic stallion to date. Presido goes back to the well-known dressage stallion, Lungau. On his dams side he holds equally as impressive names such as Double Jay, Bold Ruckus, Nasrullah, Sir Gallahad III, and Music Maker just to name a few. Phoenix does not contain any Samber blood thus is able to be bred to mares from those lines.
During his yearling year, Phoenix obtained such great accomplishments as 9th place at Devon in the hunter breeding,
winner of his last yearling class as well as champion best young horse, 3rd overall for the year for OPHA, and 10th over all for USEF Zone 5 while only attending 4 competitions. On June 20, 2010 he received a score of 74.35% during his 2 year old warmblood inspection and was asked to return for his 3 year old reevaluation and stallion approval.
