Don Ricoss (Don Frederico/Weltmeyer) 16.2 hh Hanoverian stallion
Don Ricoss was licensed in 2004 where he scored 9.5 for elasticity of paces and 10 for trot at his keuring in the UK. Dr Ludwig Christmann remarked on the quality of his paces in the Hannoveraner magazine (October / November 2004 edition).
Don Frederico, Don Ricoss's sire, is a Celle state stallion and was winner of the dressage section of his 300 day performance test with a score of 151.67 and 2nd overall with a score of 141.04
His grand dam State Premium Erina is the mother of licensed dressage stallion Wallstreet Kid (by Warkant, USA) and his full sister Windsor Queen, who produced Advanced level licensed dressage stallions, Will Be (by Wittinger) and the Licensing Champion Londonderry (by Lauries Crusador xx). The latter is currently considered to be a foundation sire.
The greatly admired stallion Eiger I (Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1999) completes Don Ricoss’ pedigree.
This dam line, is grounded in the Holsteiner Family 8116, which also produced the licensed stallion Amoural (Pb, Rhineland Pfalz-Saar) and Dante Alighieri (AUT).
Competition Record
Don Ricoss has had a brilliant start to his competition career in 2005 winning 4 times at some of Germany's largest competitions for young horses as well as qualifying for the 2005 Bundeschampionat.

Don Ricoss is trained by Eckhard Wahlers and is stationed in Germany at Gestut WM, which is a licensed semen export centre.
Isobel Bache who is based at Holga Finken's stables will ride him in competition from January 2006.
At his first competition of 2006 at the CDN in Verden, he was Vice Champion 4 year old, only beaten by 0.1%.
Don Ricoss was the winner of the dressage section of his 30 Day Test at Neustadt-Dosse in 2005.
He was the ONLY 3 year old to get marks of greater than 9.0 for both trot and canter, out of 309 3 year olds tested in 2005.His scores were:
