Additional Information

The Shagya breed is very rare and they excel in temperament and training aptitude. They were developed in the late 1700's as a cavalry horse by the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Today this breed only numbers about 150 in the United States. Shagya stallions cross well on purebred Arabian, Thoroughbred and Warmblood mares. These crosses produce the ideal Sport Horse mount!
