SAPHIRO~ Cremello Lusitano
Imported from Germany, Saphiro is the 2002 National Champion Portuguese Jr. Colt & winner of Best Movement Medal. He remains undefeated in Best Movement, awarded on three occasions. Saphiro is also the NW 2002 Andalusian Jr. Stallion Halter Champion. Saphiro has begun his USDF competition in 2005, average IL score of 70%.
He is a "prepotent" sire consistently producing foals they are large framed with lofty movement; balanced with correct conformation. Saphiro is DNA tested to be a double crème dilute and dominant for the agouti gene. His rare coloring & results of his offspring suggest that he also carries the champagne gene. 100% of foals will inherit the crème gene; 50% may receive the champagne gene; and because of the agouti gene, buckskin rather than smoky black may be expected.
