A Special Clu - Top 5 & Top 10 APHA & PtHA World Championships
A Special Clu, AKA CJ, is 15.3, heavily muscled HYPP N/N stallion with a long thin neck, huge forearm, chest, and huge hip. This horse has a great personality and can be handled by anyone.
CJ has a proven pedigree, a proven show record, and has already proven himself as a sire.
CJ is currently leading DPHC in Open Aged Stallions, Overo Color, and Amateur Stallions. He has recently earned two Top 5's at the PtHA World Championship show placing 3rd in Open Overo Stallions 5 & Older as well as 3rd in Amateur ST/HN Stallions all ages. At the APHA World Championship show CJ earned a Top 5 in Overo Color and a Top 10 in Amateur Aged Stallions.
With limited foals he has already proven himself as a producer. A Special Elegance earned a PtHA World Championship Show Top 5 in weanling Overo mares, a Top 10 in Overo Color Mares 2 & under (25 entries), and a Top 10 in the Get os Sire class along side her yearling half sibling, Watch For Clues (8th place). At the APHA World Championship show she earned a Top 10 in Overo Color. Next years foal crop will prove even more exciting as it will be the first crop specifically focused on proven halter bred mares. We can't wait!
His foals have his personality as well, incredible conformation, athleticism, and great minds. CJ is APHA Breeders Trust nominated, 2006 DPHC Stallion Services Auction, and GPHC Stallion Services Auction. This year we plan to nominate him to other major futurities around the country.
To date CJ has been a high producer of fillies and his color percentage is 50/50. AQHA papers have been applied for and are pending. Once these papers are issued AQHA mare owners can triple register their foals (AQHA, APHA, PtHA) giving you the flexibility to show in any or all of the three associations.
We plan to show CJ on a limited basis going forward so we can focus on promoting his foals at the World level.
