Meet ATLANTIS! He is the ONLY IMPORTED and APPROVED KNABSTRUPPER STALLION standing at stud in North America! Atlantis was recently approved for breeding with Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar Int. He was the first Knabstrupper stallion ever inspected by the Germans here in this country. Now, foals sired by this stallion in America have the option to receive German warmblood papers.

More apparent, the Knabstrupper is easily recognized by its colorful coat of paint-brushed spotty markings; This dazzle factor on top of the bone & movement of a warmblood, yields a competitor & companion for any level rider, that's truly beyond compare! Knabstruppers are bred for both horse and pony sizes and are used for a full range of disciplines. A few approved breed outcrosses for Knabstruppers include - Thoroughbreds, Trakehners, Arabs as well as Connemaras & Welshes.

Our stallion, Atlantis is an exciting young Knabstrupper who is reproducing his kind and gentle disposition along with color & athleticism. He is proving to be a stamping sire, as his few offspring are quite uniform out of various mare types. He is compactly built with excellent jumping form and free elastic gaits. Knabstruppers are classical dressage types, resembling the Iberian horses like Lusitanos & Andalusians as well as more modern performance warmblood breeds. Being intensely Knabstrupper with 75% "purebreds" in his pedigree, Atlantis definitely reflects the old baroque style of his ancestors. He has an estimated 20 leopards within 4 generations! With Trakehner and Oldenburg in the 3rd generation, Atlantis represents a superior combination of sportive and classical Knab breeding.

• Atlantis is registered with Zuchtverband fur Deutsche Pherde (ZfDP), Rheinland Phalz Saar International (RPSI), American Warmblood Society (AWS), International Registry of Colored Horses (IRC).

Atlantis is proving to be prepotent for those qualities that typify Knabs - namely temperament, trainability and color.

He has a 100% conception rate with foals produced via live cover, shipped semen, and embryo transfer - almost all mares caught on the first cycle. His high fertility makes him a good choice for aged & difficult breeders as well. 80% filly offspring / 20% colts.
