Tazs Jafar was bred by Loren Thomas and Mary Freeman. He has 10 crosses to black on his papers. Jafar's pedigree is primarily old Egyptian crossed with racing lines and a little Crabbet. He goes back to Adhem (2x, 4th generation) who was the first black son of Alaa El Din and the first black Straight Egyptian horse to come to the United States. Adhem was a Sheykh Obeyd, Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa, Blue List eligible and Asil horse. Raffon (3rd generation) was the US National Champion at Halter & English Performance, Legion of Merit, Sire of National Champions. Jafar is sired by Princ Achmedbasam, by Prince Abdul. On bottom he goes back to Bagdad (off his papers) who was the sire of National winner producers and found in the pedigrees of many black Arabians, Windrush Diablo goes back to the first imported racing blood, Princess Farona. Jafar's dam is Illiamo Wahida. In evaluating his pedigree, we feel he would cross very well with mares with more contemporary bloodlines.
This stallion is so easy to be around, work with, have out in the pasture. He is stallion with a gelding attitude. He is very correct stallion. He is a bit bigger boned/bodied. If you are looking to ad color, ellegance, and and easy going personalityto your foal, with an awesome introductary fee Jafar is the stallion for you.
