Large, Athletic Connemara Stallion

If you are looking to breed for an oversized connemara, look no further! Clearheart is the last son of the well known connemara stallion Aladdin. Aladdin's grandfather was one of the very first connemaras imported into the U.S. in 1947. The Aladdin line tends to be oversized with many purebreds reaching more than 15 hands. You may get over 16 hands with Thoroughbred or warmblood crosses.
The breed is highly athletic for it's size and although they have excelled in all disiplines, they make particularly good jumpers and event horses for children and adults. Thoroughbred crosses will give you more height and bone and also improve the feet and mind of the thoroughbred.

Clearheart was chosen as our competetor and sire on merits of his bloodlines, temperment, movement, size and conformation. He has good bone (9 1/2"), strong feet, and excellent conformation. He is highly athletic with enormous amounts of heart.
Clearheart has an excellent temperament and a wonderful work ethic. He is easy to handle and to ride, with a willing, agreeable personality. He has a great jumping sense and lots of scope. We are currently competing him at training level eventing with plans to move up to preliminary level later this year. At events we always place in the top, usually winning the dressage phase. We are currently schooling 3'4"-3'7" fences, which Clearheart takes easily with minimal effort.

Clearheart will be standing at stud starting with the 2007 breeding season. All breedings will be through AI only (shipped cooled semen) with a LFG. Frozen semen may possibly be available if needed. Priority will be given to inspected and approved mares and those wishing to breed for sporthorse uses.
