Rare Imported Danish Knabstrupper - Stallion Grading Champion '04

Colorado Skrodstrup, or "Fable" as he is known to friends, has been imported from Denmark and is now standing at stud in the United States! He is only the 2nd registered and approved stallion in this country, and the only approved and registerd stallion actively competing at any discipline. In Denmark, Fable was Champion at the Stallion Grading in 2004, and he was showing great promise in the dressage ring. After coming to the United States, he began training for the jumpers, and placed consistently in his first "A" jumper show (the "Oaks", San Juan Capistrano, California) against very qualified competition. He even received a 2nd and 3rd place in the 1.10m against 89 horses! All this, after only six weeks of training.

Fable has a head turning presence and draws attention wherever he goes. He has correct conformation, great disposition, wonderful elevated paces with free shoulder movement, and fearless jumping ability. He exudes all of the qualities that a Knabstrupper is valued for, and passes all of these traits to his offspring. He is the perfect all-around stallion, equally qualified to sire dressage horses as well as hunters/jumpers/eventers.
