Capi is an 'excellent stallion type with a very good top line and strong back connection". Displaying an elastic, ground covering and balanced gallop, he scored an 8.5 for jumping, a 9 for 'General Impression & Development' and 'Breed & Sex Type' at his CWHBA licensing. His overall score of 8.19 gave him the highest licensing score of the day!
Capi possesses a truly amateur friendly disposition, willing nature and excellent work ethic. Named the Reserve Champion Jumper Foal in all of Denmark for 2006, Capi continued his winning ways here in Canada being named the 2009 Overall High Point Champion 3 year old for the Eastern Ontario Open Line Horse Championship. We anticipate his continued success in the hunter/jumper rings in 2010.
Capi is a son of the recently deceased Carano, Denmark's 'Stallion of the Year' for 2004. Carano is also sire to Grand Prix Jumper Chianto (John Pearce) and winning hunter Rumba (John French). His dam sire, Solos Landtinus, was Denmark's 'Stallion of the Year' for 2005 and is known for producing horses for both jumpers and dressage.
Also of interest to some breeders, Capi is capable of producing only bay or black offspring (50% chance of gray).
